🍨🍨Homemade Strawberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream – Pure Creamy Bliss!

Ingredients 🛒

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

2 tbsp sugar (for the strawberries)

Directions 👩‍🍳

🍓 In a small bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with 2 tbsp sugar. Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes to release their juices.

🥣 In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla bean paste, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.

🍓 Stir in the strawberries and their juices into the cream mixture. Use a spoon to break down the strawberries a bit for a swirl effect.

🍦 Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically about 20-25 minutes.

🧊 Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
